How to Use the Customer Import App

Download the App from the Clover App Market

First things first, you'll need to have the app installed on your Clover device. Head over to the Clover App Market and search for "Brilliant Apps." Once you find it, download and install the app to get started.

Open the App from Your Clover Dashboard

Once the app is installed, you can access it directly from your Clover Dashboard. Locate Brilliant Apps and click on it to open the app. This will bring you to the main interface where you can perform various tasks, including customer imports.

Import Your CSV File Containing Your Customer List

With the app open, you're ready to import your customer data. Prepare a CSV file that includes all your customer information. To begin the import process, select the Import option within the app and upload your CSV file.

Match the Columns to the Correct Fields

After uploading your CSV file, the app will prompt you to match the columns of your file to the corresponding fields in the app. Ensure that each column is accurately aligned with the appropriate field to avoid errors during the import.

Click Import

Once everything is matched correctly, you're all set to import your data. Click the Import button to initiate the process. The app will begin importing your customer data into your system.

Important to Note

While our import feature is designed to be as seamless as possible, please keep in mind that this process may create duplicate customer profiles if a customer being imported already exists in your Clover system. We recommend reviewing your customer list post-import to manage any duplicates.
